  Stayed in Gilligans 2 weeks ago for 3 nights and this hostel is amazing especially for the people who love a party. Every night there is something new to do in their OWN nightclub and bar they have in there hostel. They have a swimming pool as well and the rooms themselves are very spacious and luxurious. In other words Gilligans is sick!

  Good venue for going out with friends for drinks at night. $10 entry fee is a but much which is why I didn't give 5 stars. Would also avoid going there for food.

  Our private room was like a hotel room, and a really decent size. So clean too. Fun nights downstairs in the bar. Fast wifi. You couldn't get a better location. Definitely recommend.

  I have stayed here several times over the years and it has always been a good experience. Ideal for cheap accommodation, or if you're looking for a place to stay for a weekend of partying in Cairns. Have always met great people when staying in places like this. Pretty clean, good amenities and great price.
