  Great restaurants around the outside, but very dead inside. Cairns locals say the Asian owners jacked up the rents and destroyed the atmosphere. Loads of wasted space, struggling vendors and empty shops.

  Two hour free undercover parking. Head underneath the building. GREAT variety of restaurants and cafes along the water's edge. Nice shopping experience (many boutique type shops) without the crowds.

  Lots available here. Food choice range from cheap to expensive. Recomend any of the food shops. Access to the pier cruises of which there is a huge selection. Have been on a few and few dissappoints. Shops are good quality exclusive and a bit pricey. The pier itself is quite big and good to just to go for a walk. Helicopter rides leave frequently from here. Accomafation is available in the complex and close by. Access to the Esplanade which is just around the corner. Beware: The car park is expensive and checked regularly.

  Nice place to take a stroll. Views are pretty and there are places to grab a bite to eat. The added bonus is all the water activities that can be had nearby.
